Parking of vehicles during winter months.

No vehicle except ambulances, fire trucks, police vehicles, public works, or public utilities vehicles, or any other vehicle in an emergency, shall be parked on any public streets, ways, or roads in the town from the hours of 12:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. each year from November 15 to April 15 of the following year. Notice of this section shall be published each year in a newspaper of general circulation within the Town of Winslow.

Records, Reports & Requests

To request a copy of an accident or incident report, arrange a house check while you are away, or speak with an officer about a non-emergency matter, call the business line at (207) 872-5215 during office hours. The department also works closely with residents on community-policing and safety concerns.

Winter Overnight Parking Ban

From November 15 through April 15, on-street parking is prohibited on all public streets and roads between 12:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. so crews can clear snow. Vehicles left on the street overnight during this period may be ticketed or towed. Ambulances, fire, police, public-works, and utility vehicles are exempt.
