For a gift-shopping walk in Ogunquit, separate the Main Street and Beach Street shops from Perkins Cove. Ogunquit Trading Post is another stop altogether: despite its name, its address is in Wells.

The Wells Chamber’s Ogunquit Trading Post listing places the store at 97 Post Road, Route 1, in Wells. Its range includes Maine-themed gifts, clothing, moccasins and nautical items. Allow for the separate journey rather than treating it as another downtown Ogunquit storefront.
